The Lord never ceases to amaze me when He brings so many great things together to bless us in one wonderful evening.  That evening was Thursday, February 11, 2010.

Even though it was a cold, winter night outside, the food and fellowship were warm and cozy inside.  I have to say that we sure are blessed with some wonderful women who can cook!  Ivani and her kitchen crew ROCK!

The journey from the Fellowship Hall to the Sanctuary is always uplifting when you have your very own cheerleader leading the way.  GO LYNN!   She helped prepare our hearts for the South Walton Seahawks team to perform their version of “Hey Mickey.”  Even pastor was singing and shouting along!

The “SURPRISE” of the evening was a special game show called “Trust or not to Trust, that is the Question?” Jazzy Jordan (aka Pastor Jordan) blessed us with his groovy self in a light blue leisure suit.  Trust me on this one; a picture is worth a thousand words!  The memorable moment of the evening was the look on the contestant’s faces as their names were announced.  Yes, Pastors Steve, Wayne and Jerimy were all caught off guard as they thought they were there to set us ladies straight about trust.  But, we hoodwinked them and put them in the hot seats as contestants for the game show!  WHAT A HOOT!  The Kanadays walked away as the big winners.  Priceless, the moment was priceless.  Click on the video and enjoy!

We really do want to thank the Pastors for coming and being honest with us on a man’s perspective on TRUST.  There were many tough questions and they gave us some great Godly, insightful answers.  You can always listen to the message on right here on this link, click on February 2010.

As the evening came to a close, Kelli sang “Held” while each lady wrote on a little paper heart the person(s) they needed to release from their heart on the issue of trust.  The altar was full of ladies tossing their ‘hearts’ into the buckets making a claim that from this point forward they would fully trust God.  It was powerful!

I am looking forward to our March meeting on Thursday the 11th.  We will cover the “O” in Victory and it will be on “Overcome” – save the date!

Jackie
